Kristen Dagenais, BISW, RSW
Kristen has been working in the field of social work since 2018. She is a certified Yoga Instructor, incorporating this into her counselling. She also has additional training in trauma informed counselling and sexual violence, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy and is working towards certification for Somatic Experiencing with an expected competition date of 2024. Kristen works from the philosophy that"As I often tell my students, the two most important phrases in therapy, as in yoga, are 'Notice that' and 'What happens next?' Once you start approaching your body with curiosity rather than fear, everything shifts". - Bessel Van Der Kolk. Kristen primarily covers Prince Albert and area.
Amanda Lofstrom, BA, BSW, RSW
Amanda has been working in the field of social work since 2010. She has experience working with children, youth, and adults, from all walks of life. She has additional training in trauma informed counselling and sexual violence, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and is working towards certification for Somatic Experiencing with an expected completion of 2024. Amanda believes that no two people are the same, nor do they experience trauma in the same way. She believes in thinking outside the box when working with survivors and finding what works best to help each person. Amanda primarily covers Meadow Lake and area.

Shellina Nowakowski, BA, BSW, RSW
Shellina has been working in the field of social work since 2012. She has additional training in trauma informed counselling and sexual violence, self-injury behaviors in youth, cognitive behavioral therapy, and is working towards certification for Somatic Experiencing with an expected completion of 2024. Shellina primarily covers La Ronge and area. Shellina works from the philosophy that “healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed. It means the damage no longer controls your life.” – Shah Rukh Khan.
